This page will share some facts about pickerel frogs. Pickerel frogs are usually light brown with small darker brown spots. They prefer cool, rocky streams with shallow and slow moving water. They eat anything small and moving. They have quiet, snore like calls that can only be heard little distances. Pickerel frogs look a lot like leopard frogs but if you do some research you can tell the difference between them. They are most common in Rhode Island all throughout the state but you can still find them other places in the country.
